actually, he's been home for almost 5 days, now. i just haven't had a spare moment to write in this space. he's doing fairly well. we're having fun just being together. thank you all so much for your comments and e-mails. i've gotten some of the most lovely and thoughtful notes from complete strangers! such a nice thing to find in your "in box". i hope you are all well. more soon!
